Want to partner with me?
Here's how:
Thanks for your interest in my work and possibly partnering with me. I get proposals every week for partnerships, which usually are technical firms looking for new leads and business opportunities and hoping I can provide that. My response for you is this:
Partnerships involve mutual risk and reward.
Because of my limited time and the high volume of inbound partnership inquiries I get, I have created a process for this to help save us both time and find out if there is indeed a good fit.
Here's how it works:
- You book a paid call with me via Calendly where you can pitch your idea to me. Note: I highly advise against booking a call with me if you are providing generalist data, AI, analytics, design or engineering services or you're a staffing firm selling labor.
- On the call, if there is a mutual fit, I will explain to you how my Partnership Assessment Engagement works, which would be the next step. This would involve you engaging me as a paid consultant on a project with the goal of me getting to know your business, how you work, your ICPs, your marketing and sales process, and your team/culture. At the end, I will provide you with an assessment of the opportunities I see to work together either separately or as a two-vendor package. I will also include a high-level assessment of your positioning, marketing, and sales process and changes you might want to make to increase organic demand for your services such that you’re less dependent on unpredictable referral work.
- From there, we can both re-assess if moving forward as a partnership makes sense, and what it would look like for you to begin possibly helping my clients in your area of expertise.
